Free Realms is getting a new User Interface for housing, along with some awesome new features! Hide your pets, make the ground flora disappear, build faster and easier with better grid control, as well as some brand new building material textures. The all-new Housing Options window has taken the options previously located on the Decorate bar (Lock House and Snap to Grid) and replaced them with a new, more robust list of options.
New and Old Options:[/i][/u]
Lock House - Locks house to prevent other players from entering
Snap to Grid – Grid sizes have been quartered to make placement of building materials easier
Free Camera – Detaches the camera from the player while in decorate mode for smoother visibility and more robust screenshot photography
Hide Flora – Toggles plants off within the current house/lot
Hide Pets – Toggles auto-spawned pets off within all of a player’s houses/lots (does not affect summoned pets)
Housing Directory Submit/Remove – Adds this house/lot to or removes this house/lot from the Directory
Pick Up All Items in House – Following a confirmation window, picks up all items in the house/lot and places them in the character’s inventory
Rename House – Allows the owner to change the name of a house/lot
We've also got five new sets of building block textures! Check out these cool new textures and start decorating in brand new ways!

You can tour all of these houses and lots by clicking on the magnifying glass in the preview pane of the Marketplace. Just click the shopping cart icon, choose Housing, then choose Lots or Houses.
Everyone gets a Wilds Condo just for logging in, so make sure to click on the house icon in your toolbar to try out building and decorating. Melanie Lane will help you get started!
